The Municipal Policy Secretary of the PSRM-PSOE and Deputy Speaker of the Socialist Parliamentary Group, Alfonso Martínez Baños, has asked the Environment Minister, Javier Celdrán, for explanations about the public accusations against the director of IMAS, Verónica López, about the placement of seven relatives in the Ulea solid waste plant.
Martínez Baños demands an urgent response from the regional government, "since if certain serious accusations of favor were to be made, we would demand the immediate resignation of the IMAS director."
The Socialist leader has reported that the municipalities governed by the PSOE, which are part of the Consortium, will request the urgent convocation of the governing bodies of the Consortium to ask for explanations and reach the end of this matter.
